So, I'm the guy that's in love with a close friend of his in another thread. That being said, she's 2,000 miles away, and I'm not entirely adverse to at least dating someone right now, and possibly even forget about her.
So - I'm wondering if a coworker has a crush on me.
We make jokey, sarcastic comments a lot, she's always asking me to come in her office (she's supposed to train me, but goes out of her way to do so, even when I don't really need to go there) and brushes up against me at times (like leaning over into me). Plus we get into long, involved conversations frequently.
On the other hand - she has a boyfriend, has moved back when I accidentally touched her a bit close I think. Today she had me move so that her close friend at work (whom she said she considers to be similar to a father figure) could sit next to her as they were going to share chips when we all went to lunch.
Other coworkers have been noticing we spend a great deal of time together, and one of them even commented that he was "Sorry" when she had me move. Another coworker commented on the fact that we seemed to be spending a lot of time together - and it's true. There are times we'll spend hours talking in her office with the door closed (the door has a window on it, though).
So like, is she interested? Part of me thinks she is, though maybe she only wants attention? (She wears somewhat revealing clothes at times). We get along rather well though, despite having diametrically opposite political beliefs. We look at each other during meetings, she'll do little waves at me, or funny gestures. We give each other looks whenever we think our boss says something funny or stupid.
As far as I can tell, she seems to like me, but may have misgivings or be uncomfortable with that?
