Well, women are pretty much everywhere, so technically you could be meeting women all the time assuming you had the motivation and ability to take action.

However, there does seem to be situations where it is easier to approach women and begin conversations. The best places are where women are mostly stationary, relaxed, and either alone or in a small group. Some possibilities are: coffee shops, bookstores, parks, parties and other social gatherings.

Places that are more difficult are where women are constantly in motion, have a clear agenda, in a stressful environment, and is not conducive to conversation. Places like the mall or other high traffic areas. Although, it's not to say that it's impossible.

The nice thing I've always liked about bars is that the concentration of women is much higher than most other environments. So you can easily approach and meet many women in a short amount of time, which is nice:)

And who says that serious minded girls don't go to bars and clubs!? Just because a girl goes out to a bar it doesn't mean she's there all the time, that she's a party girl or that she is not "marriage" material. That kind of thinking is ridiculous. I've met tons of amazing down to earth, girl next door types, at bars and clubs.

Agreed, bars and clubs are the BEST places to meet women...because there are a lot of them there, and they're often single. The issue most people have with bars and clubs isn't the venue per se, but the competitiveness of the social environment. In other words, there are too many good looking, well dressed guys and too many hot women with bitch shields activated. Yeah, that's right.

With that in mind, why not try a classier bar on a Wednesday or Thursday night? How about happy hour? How about a wine bar? You're getting a different class of (professional) women at these places and it's not populated by frat boys and douchebags, generally. Just look around.

When all else fails, hit some online dating sites, although my friend considers this dumpster diving and I tend to agree. But hey, you gotta start somewhere.

Matt has the right idea too, train yourself to talk to women all day during your daily travels. Gym, grocery store, coffee shop, happy hour, wherever you go, say hello and open sets.
