Can using sex toy desensitize you from being able to orgasm during oral sex?

I had a boyfriend 15 years ago that was the best at oral sex and loved giving it to me all the time. I never failed to orgasm. We came in contact again about 4 years ago and I was not ever able to get there when he performed oral on me. I have a high libido and used toys quite often. Could using a clit vibrator have desensitized me and what can I do to fix that? I'll be honest an orgasm from the real thing is 100 times better than one from a toy. I also have another question. I had another boyfriend that would NOT have sex with me 99% of the time. However, he would sit on the couch jerking off to porn with me sitting next to him and tell me not to touch him. Occassionally he would allow me to try to give him a blow job, but he would never orgasm, he would always have to finish himself. He watched porn a lot. Was this guy addicted to it and did he desensitize himself to sex (even oral) with a woman? If that is the case, laying off the vibrator for a while should solve the problem. Your body may have become conditioned to respond to a specific type of stimulation. A "vacation" should solve that problem. A second possibility is that some medications can cause difficulty with orgasm. Andi depressants can cause this problem. YOu don't mention being on one, but I want to be thorough.

This one is easy. He's addicted to porn and that is all that truly turns him on. That's obvious from the reaction of the other guys. I'm afraid the problem there is worse than just being desensitized.

for me, it depends on how long you have used it and when you started using it. I got my period when I was 8 years old. After that I started masturbating daily. First it was my hands, then stuff that didn't vibrate, then stuff that did vibrate. I have been beating off daily ever since. It takes my guy forever to get me off and alot of times I end up faking it just to seem appreciative for his efforts. I have taken "vacations" but it's hard because i'm such an addict.
