I join the Social Networking Sites like Myspace,Facebook,Twitter and Youtube and I go to the Dating Groups withen them and I type Single White Male 38 in Texas looking for a SWF but in order to word it write I click on some of the Guys Ads and see how they are written so I can write mine , well almost 99.9 percent of the time I still get it wrong. I am a child of the 80s and what worked then doesn't work now , do you have any suggestions for me and waht should I do ...

Hi there!

My recommendation, join a real online dating site where everyone else is actually looking to meet someone online for romantic purposes.

The ones you mention are free, but not by any means the best (or even a very good) way to meet people to date.

I'd suggest you check out Match.com, or if you want something free try a popular free online dating site like Plenty Of Fish.

We usually prefer the paid dating sites for a variety of reasons. Here's a video we did on that recently:

Key thing to consider: sign up to a few different sites and start looking for everyone in your area - and go from there.

Alternatively, you could use chat services like yahoo messenger and other IMs. There are lots of single women who are spending their time in chatrooms. Or better yet, get out there and mingle! :)
