Sound like you need to build your confidence up and find out why you are the way you are. Remember communication is the best tool for everyone. Yes you might be sly or even afraid. Just take a deep breath and see where you get with being yourself. This may take time, but do not rush into anything. As for your scale of a 10. Yes i have met them and yes they where very one way in there beliefs. Most of the time they feel there shit does not stink but it does. After you do meet the one that are open about themselves, and you open with yourself you will find it is alot easier to chat with and have a great time.

i have to say i now find as i get older 10's are just not worth the trouble lol

ive dated many really handsome men and found that they can be rather full of themselves just as im sure really beautiful women can be also.but what you find to be a 10 may be someone elses 3...its really all relative to what you found attractive when you were forming your attration map when you were younger...compound that with attraction of former lovers that left you imprinted on their body type or face.a real 10 is a combination of all the things facial ,bodily and personality that "do it "for you.my husband now can be considered a true 10 and im lucky he is the warmest most loving man who sees me as a 10 also,but if he were a 2 to someone else i wouldnt ever bat an eye over it

if i had to chose one day again for a mate i would probably pick a nice middle aged man with a bit of a tummy a lot of wrinkles and smelly feet before id look for tom sellek

I married a ten. Like Theresa was saying, that isn't all it's cracked up to be. She knew it and she knew she could get her way with me. Used my heart for target practice then left me for a playboy. I got a pile of education from that experience. Dating someone I can relax and enjoy myself with, instead of having to feel like I need to live up to some standard, is much more enjoyable.

Ya maybe it was cheap and a learning experience, while still acknowledging the "now that we've been married 15 years my honey IS a perfect 10!" answers- I was moreso going for the "could have been a Ms./Mr. America", "I f'd the prom queen" type of answers in spite of finding down the road that down the road they may have been an asswipe
