I look at things like this... you guys are coming to be good friends. You like him a lot but you are afraid that he will never associate willingly with you again. Here's the hard part... you tell him and he likes you or not and maybe he rejects you. Or you never tell him and then you never know but he still talks to you. I don't know how long you guys have talked or known each other but if you can try and wait for the right moment. Don't wait to get a really tight friendship because there are many ways it could be taken when you come out to him but don't jump in a kinda evade if you know what i mean. Kinda talk to him a little bit, see how he will react to certain things. He might seem to not mind it or he might just hate it.. but go on slowly, not just jump up and throw him on the spot because then he might not know what to do and do the wrong thing or get scared.

Tough situation yours, boy.

I am in the same position as yours in a guy at my college. He is so cute! However, I know that if I tell him that I like him he won't be around me anymore. Now, does this boy is just straight, or sightly homophobic?

I know it is hard to believe, but most straight dudes are not homophobic. In fact, they even blush when a guy tells them they're cute (or hot *giggles*). Do you consider that he is homophobic or is thrown back to the idea of a guy liking him?

It is your whole decision, you know him better than what we might ever get to know him. Be sincere! At the end that is friendship about. However if you feel like he might get thrown away by the thought of his friend liking him, you might want to label yourself as his secret lover. :)
