I would like to condgradulate on your decision. Best thing is to be yourself. Do what ever you would like to do, and enjoy all the positions. Once you get going you will forget about the camera being there. My wife and i have filmed ourselves. Have to say we both enjoyed it totally. Now there are so many different type position may want to try. Missionary, doggie style, lady on top front and back, upside down, spoon. Just start as to what you can do. Remember oral sex is great to being film. Hopefully you both can last.

Thanks for the advice. I really hope that I can forget about the camera, but I'm beginning to psych myself up too much. Oral sex is a good suggestion. Maybe we'll do that first to get more comfortable.

I suppose that the main reason I'm asking for specific, flattering positions is because I'm a bit freaked out by the advice that I got from a friend when I mentioned this to her. She basically told me to only do missionary or positions on my back so that gravity doesn't pull the skin away from my bone structure and then she started talking about what kind of outfit to wear.... At that point, I was just telling her that I was excited to be trying it. I wasn't really even thinking about how it would look and I don't want to be as restricted as what she was saying, but I still want to know which positions film best. -goes to research with more porn- xD

You're a brave woman. Personally, I think you'll come to regret doing this. I wouldn't worry so much about how you'll look (gravity, positions, etc) but how to keep this from being distributed to others. You'll not likely be successful at that.

Unless you're planning to make money at this sort of thing you should consider carefully how you'll feel later when others view this.

As usual, Scarbowl is right on target. I can see this being a huge turn-on, but you have to either destroy the tape that night orbe willing to accept the possibility that it could become public. No one ever thinks their relationship is going to end, but most are wrong about that eventually. Imagine you and he split up in five years and him having a stag party with 50 of his closest friends. Or sending a copy to your parents and pastor. I spent several years as a marriage counselor and, believe me, things like that do happen. Or, you home is burglarized and it makes it to youtube.

This is one of those times where you have to be willing to take responsibility for your choices. You just need to know that there is always a risk of the tape going beyond your intended audience and make sure you're prepared to accept that risk.

Thanks for the concern, but I have already given thought to the issue of the tape becoming public. I indicated this in the first post and said "I have accepted that others might eventually see it." I'm well aware that this is a risk and I don't know what makes anyone think I won't take responsibility for my choice.

That is not the issue that I'm requesting advice about in this topic. Nor am I obligated to provide an explanation of why I'm fine with it and/or what my plans are for the tape.

Here are a few suggestions that I have picked up from my personal video experience.

1. I'd suggest starting off with your partner holding the camera. This is known as POV for Point Of View in the porn business. It has a couple of advantages. First, he can actually see what is being filmed and adjust the camera to capture what he (and you) want. Second, watching it will give you his perspective on the acts. Third, it tends to capture somewhat more graphic footage than a distant camera. It's disadvantages are that he actually has to hold the camera and you may not want close ups. I'd suggest after a bit switching to a stationary camera so he can return to a natural rhythm. Put it beside the two of you if you want to see your identities clearly, or behind you to give you some anonymity. The camera behind will capture very graphic insertion if your partner is on top and you wrap your legs around him.

2. I wouldn't worry about being self conscious. Editing software is very common and easy to use these days. If you find that a piece of the footage isn't flattering, just cut it out. In the end, this isn't going to be a Hollywood production anyway.

3. I do not take the extreme position that you shouldn't let yourself be filmed. I try not to be a hypocrite. It doesn't hurt however to minimize the potential embarrassment by keeping your face out of the footage. After all, you and your partner already know who is on the film.
