Almost sounds like you're putting up with a lot more then I would. For starters why are you agreeing to take mood pills? If you have a boneafide problem such as being bi-polar that would be significant enough and warrant medication but I wouldn't advise taking any pills without consulting a doctor first. You've done this haven't you? You do in fact need these pills?

Secondly, my ol lady doesn't spend the night anywhere other then my bed. Sure there's been many times she's been gone for various reasons, but typically a woman that is making a habit of not even being home at all and spending nights at her so called "friends" house is up to something in my opinion. I wouldn't read to much into that right now but I believe something is definitely up. She doesn't sound like a loving and committed partner in a relationship by goofing off at her friends all day long while you bust your hump at work. To make it even worse she's not even having the decency to come home to you, but rather staying the night at her friends house supposedly. What's up with that? How did all this happen and where did it begin?

I hate to be the bearer of bad tiddings but it's my opinion your relationship is on the downward spiral and possibly even worse then that, you've already been replaced. Don't go making accusations though. You can't do that without actual proof and it only makes for more arguments and pushes her even farther away. I think the two of you need some serious alone time to sit down and discuss all the things you have concerns about and lay your cards on the table so to speak.

Is there a possibility that she's not ready to get married and is running scared? It could just be a case of too far too fast for her... It's a very awkward thing to be living with someone and saying no to a marriage proposal.

Having said that, her behavior is very inconsiderate and you guys really need to talk about this in an open and honest matter. No accusations, no anger - just talk as friends. Figure out what it is that you both really want - as individuals and as a couple.

Tell her these actions are making you feel. Keep it about your feelings not about her. Our tip for this is to try not to use the word "you" when expressing your feelings. Keep it about the action, or the behavior. And NEVER start a sentence with "You" - it's like pointing your finger in her face.

Oh and get off the mind altering drugs unless your health absolutely depends on it. You should definitely not be doing it for her - you should be taking them only if you believe that you really need them. Again, I'm not a doctor, so talk this over in great detail with your doctor. (alone)

And I also feel that your well within your rights as a partner to ask your girlfriend to get a job to help pay for the gas for these long trip - especially with the price of gas these days... But I really feel this issue will be resolved with the communication I mentioned above.

Well I don't know the full spectrum of your issue, but from what you say, she seems to be exactly the type of girl I would fear beyond anything else to marry. I mean, I'd rather eat a living spider than marry a girl like that.

She doesn't work? Fine. At least help you out, and don't go to your friend who lives 40 miles away!
