I like to consider myself a modern women. I have a few male friends who I occasionally hook up with. They dont need to romance me in order to get me into bed. The relationship is sort of one that fills a need. I need sex, they need sex, its a win-win for both. The only problem that comes around is what happens between and after sex. While falling asleep or taking a breather, he stops to tell me how beautiful I am, how sexy I am, how smart, funny, etc. (This is not reciprocated by me, by the way.)
I always thought conversationally, those were things men tell women in order to get them into bed...not when they're already there.
So if we are both under the impression that this is a one night thing, why would he bother telling me all these sweet, nice things?
And it cant possibly mean that he means them, because he wont answer any of my texts or calls for weeks after.
Point being... how am I able to keep fulfilling my needs without the emotional bond inspired by HIS insistent flattery?
