Sounds like your situation contradicts your name. That doesn't sound lucky at all.

Jokes aside, you're being too broad about your situation in order for me to give you advice.

I've brought this up a few times and he says he does.

Does he show that he does? What else does he say besides this, or does he just leave it at that? I know there's more to this than what you've already said.

I know it's difficult for him and I've been trying to be leniant, but now it's getting on my nerves and I'm very concerned.

How is it difficult? Is he going through something that would make you say this? Or is there something going on with you as well?

I think he wants to break up with me.

Did he say this? This is quite a conclusion to jump to with what little you've said so far with your situation.

1. I think he honestly tries, it's just a very busy time for both of us.
2. He has a mental problem where he can't really read people like a normal person can.
3. No he doesn't bring it up. I usually do, I don't say I want to break up with him I just ask if he does. I feel like he might be stepping around eggshells with me and I know we don't want that.

You say your boyfriend has a "mental problem", do you know if it is Asperger's Syndrome or high functioning autism by any chance?

He is autistic and an aspie, yes.

That makes sense, it is hard for people with Asperger's to read people and often it's hard for people to read them as well. If he says he cares about you he is probably telling the truth because people with Asperger's are straightforward and are not known to lie about anything. I once read about a woman who asked her aspie son why he didn't ever say that he loved her and he said because I already told you before (and it had been several years earlier) and he assumed that since he had already told her once that that had been enough. Maybe you're situation is something like that. Of course I don't know either of you so I can't really make a clear judgement of your situation.
