Around this time last year I came out to several of my friends, my best friends.

Then around january, I didn't feel Gay, and disregarded it, but over the past few months, it's been growing on me. Far more than last year.

I've never had a boyfriend before, but I do like several guys in my year at school (final year, in England) but they're straight and/or are already taken.

I have no idea how people will take it, and Im afraid of ending up alone. There are so many tell tale signs to my parents, though. My sudden fondness of fashion (stereotypical) and I use my hands far more now to explain things, they way I speak is changing, aswell.

I'm 16, by the way.

Well I cannot speak for you specifically, but I know the UK generally has a much friendlier look on homosexuality than North America. So with that in mind I'd say you have little to worry about unless your parents have expressed outright disgust with homosexuals.

It seems that your sexuality is still settling if you're feeling iffy about it. Just don't come out to anyone else until you're out to yourself. In other words, wait until you know for sure because it's hard to un-come out.

Chances are your parents already know, if you're starting to talk in a more faggy way (Excuse the bluntness XD).

And an unnecessary detail:
So far all of the people I've come out to have been really accepting of my sexuality, even the ones I didn't think would be. This being said, I've yet to come out to my parents but most of my school knows. I'm fifteen and live in Canada, and it's pretty trendy for kids my age to be homophobic here so that says a lot for whether or not they actually are, or just put on the act around their friends.

I'm kind of out to myself already. I've accepted that the chances of me being gay are above straight.

The friends I came out to were really accepting, and one said that he'd stand by me always, and if anyone made fun of me, then he'd stick up for me. And he was the one I liked.

The Uk is generally understanding, but there are some people who are VERY against gay people, too, but I guess you get that from everyone, anywhere.

I came out to my friends in high school about being bisexual (although I consider myself pansexual now) and even the friends who said they were against homosexuality seemed okay with it.. they stayed friends with me, didn't change anything. I haven't come out to family though, my mom doesn't accept it.

Today's world is very judgmental.. when i came out at 15.. my parents and school mates weren't really accepting of it. My friends didn't care either way because they would be there for me for the majority of things. But that's what matters, is does your friends accept it? Who cares if your other classmates don't like it.. If you are straight, bi or gay.. don't matter there are going to be haters and bashers every where... i just learned to ignore them and their negativity.
If you're worried that your parents will look down upon it then i wouldn't tell them...

But if you like guys, you like guys.. so what nothing wrong with it.. its is in nature.. there are a good amount of species that have homosexuality in them... if you like it, be proud of it.. don't let others get you down because they think its wrong.. that's the thing though they "think"... its an opinion, that all.
