Seriously, there is no problem with starting with oral sex and moving to intercourse. I've dated girls who thought they had somehow failed if I didn't climax with just oral. FYI, some of the biology here is that thrusting is a signal to a man to climax. I would not take it personal. I have never climaxed on oral alone. Even when it lasts over and hour or more. I agree with your man.
