how should i go about telling someone i love them?

hi all
i am in huge confusion and am quite upset about this.
i have been in love with a girl for over 13 months and she hasnt responed to any of my signals and i feel that i should maybe tell her i love her and see how she reacts as this has gave me to much heart ache ,does anybody know how i should approach her and tell her.

On thing I've always said, in every situation: Be yourself.

Telling some one you love him/her might be scary, and you have no idea how the other person will react. But what matters is how you feel about it and your actions.

If you are going to tell her you love her, just be yourself. Never wonder if it's creative enough (I'm not saying that you shouldn't, be. I'm saying you shouldn't measure it with other's standards) or if you're doing it "the right way". The right way is whatever comes naturally to you.

Hold on, I don't think you should be so rash about this.

Do you talk to this girl normally. If so good, then it will make your mission easyer. I just suggest to you to not use the word LOVE. It's a bit strong and can make some one change their mind about you. Use the word LIKE it's a lot less hostile.

Love is used in a committed relationship where like can be used more as a leeway.
Love is just too strong to start off with, it's ok for you to love someone.

Say to her, "I really like you is there a chance of us being more than just friends?". Make sure she will be in a place where there will be little distraction for her answer. You will have better results.
