Basically all the "gurus" for dating use different vocabulary for the same advice-Be confident; Don't act needy. Girls will forgive anything sooner than a lack of confidence. So, my young friend, the key is to do it.

Don't stare at her trying to get your nerve up. That's creepy and communicates "I"m not worthy." Go straight up to her and just say something. Trying to impress a girl always backfires.

On a note, I was a backward kid. After I became more confident, girls from high school told me that had liked me but I never had the ____ to act on it. The worst thing a girl can say is "no." Man up and talk to her. Twenty years from now, you'll be regretting the risks you didn't take more than the ones you did that backfired.

Thank you so much for the advice but you said iPhone, I didn't necessarily mean iPhone, I meant talking to another person on her cell phone, what do I do if she's doing that? Also, what about if she's always talking to somebody as she is leaving? How can I talk to her then?

Just the same way. If you stand back and watch her trying to catch her alone, that'll creep her out so you'll never get anywhere. Bold and confident. I've chatted up plenty of girls who were with someone. Just start talking about the crazy physics teacher, or the killer exam in economics, or any topic like that. A lot of time, the other person, if it's not a significant other, excuses themselves.

Ok thanks a lot dude but if she is with another person and they excuse themselves that would mean that they would feel left out because I'm not talking to them too, wouldn't that be rude? I mean I want to talk to the girl but I don't want to be rude to her friends. In fact, don't you think they would tell her that I'm a jerk for ignoring them and only wanting to talk to her?

No, include the friend in the conversation. Don't just talk to the girl you're interested in. Be sure to talk to everybody in the group. If there's a guy, speak to him first. That way, you're just the guy who talks to everybody. You're right. Talking only to the girl you're interested in and ignoring the others comes off as creepy. Make sure everyone is included, then switch to the one you're mainly talking to.
