I cannot get a boyfriend and REALLY want one!

My age might be a little too young maybe but i dont think so. Im 15 and never had a bf in my life. I feel really lonely at times especially lunch break at my highschool. I dont have any crushes because most of the guys at my school are too immature and not the type for me. :mad: I was just wondering if you could give me some tips about getting a boyfriend. A lot of girls all ready had boyfriends and i want to get my first bf and first kiss before i go to university. Right now it feels like i will NEVER have a bf. Please help!

Singlechick: My first question is "Are you trying anything to meet boys?" There is an old saying "Fortune favors the bold."

Saying all the boys at your school are too immature for you is just an excuse for not trying. You won't know unless you start talking to guys. I'm not talking about being too "forward" and sending the wrong message. Just start being friendly.

The most common mistake that people who have trouble dating make is not smiling. It would amaze you how much that little difference helps. A smile will do more for your "face value" than a thousand dollars worth of makeup. Start smiling and saying hi to random people. And don't limit that to guys. Basically, become the girl who talks to everybody. I'll bet you things will start changing then.

I was just like you when I was in high school, I thought that most of the guys were immature or jerks. I was considered an outcast with very few friends, it didn't help that I was painfully shy.
May I suggest something? Is there anyone younger than you at your school? I was 17 and I started liking this one boy, and he was 15. He was actually more mature than the guys older than me. I know it seems crazy, but just try it. Another thing,if you know a guy that seems like a jerk when he's with his buddies, try to talk to him alone, he might amaze you. I knew one jock, a basketball player, he was the BIGGEST jerk at my school- then I talked to him alone. He was actually really nice and very friendly.
