ok so one night my brothers best friend spent the night over at my house my brothers friend is 22 and i am 17 we have been attracted to each other for a while but never said anything or acted on it until recently. anyway he came into my room really late and i gave him head a few times and then we had intercourse. keep in mind this is my brothers BEST FRIEND and he found out somehow not by me or the guy and he is mad and confused he keeps wanting to go to the guys house but i wont let him cuz im scared of what might happen...i still want to see the guy and have sex with him but since my brother knows i dont think that is an option anymore. does anyone know how i can get my brother off our backs and let us continue to do what we do without an interruption? :confused: also i think that my brother is really mad cuz i lost my virginity to his best friend and i lost it before he did and he is 7 years older than me

Not to be a kill joy or anything but what you both did was illegal.

For him to see you at 17 and him being 22 currently, I'm pretty sure it is also illegal.

Your brother probably wont be happy with this situation because it's his best friend and usually that how it would go down for anyone. You would have to talk to your brother about it, but I think hes probably mad because he failed to protect you at a young age. Even if you think you are responsible for your self that's just how things are.

ya i guess and i know its illegal but that wasnt going to stop me or him from doing what we did and my brother keeps wanting to talk to him and i dont want him too cuz im afraid he might do something drastic like beat the crap outa him or attempt to anyway....:(

Who you sleep with is none of your brother's business. Tell him to grow up and not to do anything that could put him in prison.

ya thats true but ever since he broke up with his girlfriend he has been strangely and overly protective of me....and it is really getting on my nerves

I think it's completely normal for that to happen. It's piratically a male's responsibility to protect others. (well traditionally)

I think you're just going to have to deal with it or you can tell him. But there isn't much you can do when he is really looking out for your well being. It's better than him causing trouble for your life, like abusing you in some type of way.

If your parents found out, and pressed charges, he could go to jail.

If a person is over 18, they are supposed to make responsible choices. He knows

that having sex with a minor is illegal, and if he doesn't, maybe jail will educate him.

He's wrong even if you took off your clothes and begged him to have sex with you..:

i dont care if it is illegal i do illegal things all the time! we just wanted to do it and the fact that it is illegal and that he is my brothers best friend and it was in my house with a chance of getting caught made us having sex that much more exciting for us to do it!!

I'm going to take the law out of the equation, at least for now anyway. Your posts have been focusing on you and your brother so far. What about the guy you had sex with? Have you talked to him at all since that night?

no i havnt gotten to talk to him i said hi to him when i ran into him at walmart the other day but that was before i knew that my brother knew about what happened and i cant call him he has no phone cuz he has no job and no money i can drive to his house cuz i dont know where he lives and cant talk to him on the internet cuz again no job so no money to pay for it so i am at a loss when it comes to talking to him unfortunately........:(

Maybe if you said what it is about this guy that made you feel so attracted to him, it can help out. Because right now I'm not seeing what it is about him that made you feel good enough to let him pop your cherry.

It doesn't matter whether you want to or not. He's the adult(over 18}. It's up to him to make the right choices. More exciting for you...off limits and risky for him.

Who you have sex with is none of your brothers business, unless your rubbing it in his face; but I'm assuming your not. I will give the both of you a little piece of advice. Even thought you're 17 and only a year away from adulthood, that doesn't matter in the eyes of the law. Even if its consensual, even if your parents do not want to press charges, if the law finds out that guy is an automatic registered sex offender; which means that his life is from then on ruined. You may be having fun now, but no fling is worth losing your future over.

I suspect your brother is feeling that the guy took advantage of you and he's mad at himself for failing to protect you. I think you may want to consider sitting him (brother) down and saying, "I know you're mad. I want you to know he didn't take advantage of me. It was my choice." He's going to get mad and blow up. At that point, I'd just be silent and let him vent, then when he storms off to his room I'd just let him cool off and think a while. I'm going to bet that will help him see he has to respect your choices.
