I suspect you may be being something of a wallflower. The key to start meeting people is to start talking to people. Talk about the crazy civics teacher, or the fight in the lunchroom, or whatever. Just start talking to people. And not just the hot girls; that creeps them out. You want to talk to everyone, even girls you're not interested in. And guys to. That way, when you do strike up a conversation with a girl you're interested in, you're not being creepy; you're just the guy who talks to everyone.

In the meantime, I've got a suggestion; if you're willing to put the effort into it: Find a female friend or acquaintance and ask her to help you with your style and behavior. Girls love to fix guys. Listen to what she says you need to do, and I'll bet you'll get some ideas. She might even want to introduce you to a friend.

I have a female friend, almost like my sister. And i am the guy who tqlks to everyone. I do talk to the gorl im interested in and she doesnt think im creepy. Im only in the friend zone with her. She doesnt think of me as anything other than a friend. And she has a boyfriend. Maybe then shes off limits. But another i like is the female friend i said earlier. I dont know how to approach her when shes almost like my sister. Would that be akward?

It's hard to break out of the friend zone, but it can be done. What works for me is to just ask "Have you ever thought about us being more than friends?" That way, she can back out gradually if she isn't interested. If she is, she ill take the hint and respond.

Why don't you ask some of these friends why you aren't getting any attention from girls? I'll bet they can tell you.

I think it is sad that someone would reply with a crass commercial post to a question, from a young person no less, who is seeking help with a problem . Why don't you move out of your parents' basement and get a real job? This is pathetic.

Isn't it ironic that someone appended a commercial message to this one after I had written a post criticizing someone for doing the same thing?

Don't forget that girls also love to try to change a guy if they can. Girls are fixer uppers and there is nothing that love to try to fix than a guy. They're hoping to change the guy into what they believe is the man of their dreams. They tend to get that from hollywood, romance novels, and girls magazines like Cosmopolitan.
