I'm a damn FOOL!

Hey all, as you can see from my nickname, Im a shy girl I'm completely shy! :(

Okay here's the thing, two days ago I met a guy. And he is the most gorgeous and perfect and handsome and sexy guy EVER! We were just going out from a bar with my friend and he was just standing in front of the door. My friend just said hi to him and this way we met. Then he realised that he forgot his cellphone on the table and got in. Right there I was, looking into his eyes and cannot manage to say A WORD!

He was trying to make me talk. Smiling, looking directly into my eyes, facing his body to me also... Ofcourse I said a few words, but not enough to exchange a phone number or something. I made fool of myself, I was about to fall down just where I was standing, imagine, is THAT possible? My friend knows him but he isn't too willinig to make us met again. I know his name and I know where he studies and what he is studying about, I mean I can reach him, but I'm not sure if that'd be good you know...

Hey someone give me advise. I don't have time... No I don't! I just want to see him once more.

GOD! Am I hopeless????

It's perfectly normal to be nervous when you want someone to like you. He probably didn't notice a thing. Our nervousness isn't as apparent to anyone else as it is to us. You're worried about the impression you're making and whether he's going to like you. That's perfectly natural.

If you wait until you aren't nervous, it'll never happen. If you worry about making a good impression, you'll come off as stiff and phony. The key is to just walk up and start talking to him. No game plan, no word-for-word plan what you're going to say. Just walk up and start talking to him. Guys love to rescue girls so you can ask him about your car or bicycle or just if he knows a good Italian restaurant. Or you can ask him about his job or what classes he's taking, etc. Just break the ice and let the conversation go where it will.

Chances are he's as nervous as you are. The key isn't to stop being nervous; you can't do that. The key is to act in spite of being nervous.

Look everyone is gonna mess up or do something embarrassing, it's life but u have to get over it. laugh and brush it off. You can over come being shy by just letting go stop caring how ppl think of you and just do what u want. Life is better that way. the Guy likes you apparently, most guys look at lips when they are talking to normal ppl well at least i do , so if he was looking into your eyes he must be attracted. Just stop worrying and most guys like it when women chase after them so go ahead find him.

I can just go and ask around. But I don't know, it's kind of risky maybe you know... What if he'll just laugh when I find him up again? What if I SAW him looking into my eyes just because I WANT him to do so, Is that possible?

Brrrssssssssss!!!! I really liked your answer Jake, but it was just like a dream. I can't be sure if he was real, (What the-) so you say just go for it?

i mean what is the worst that can happen???? Him say No? wow everyone is gonna get rejected one day, and i know we are all scared of it. we just have to try. If he says no you just move on that simple. if he says yes then you have a guy. there are millions of guys in the world you really Don't realize it yet but there are so just try it and keep up with the posts i like helping you

Actually I know there are so many guys out there. But the point is, how I felt when he looked at me, I don't think I can really feel like that again. I mean he made something I am not, I got stupid and as I said like, I was just standing up and then I was almost on the ground. I just grasped the bench. This is not something happens everytime. And I don't think I can find one more couple of eyes like his'... büüüü =(

Thank you for helping too. Actually I asked one of my friends he is now looking around to find him. I cant go because of my studies. But he can make the research for me, I hope...

Start off by saying hi and telling him your name. You can at least do that, right? It's no different from meeting anyone else you haven't met before. Then he'll probably say his name and if he doesn't, just ask. Make a joke out of the fact that you feel nervous around the guy. Laughter/humor is a good way to break the ice. Then just keep talking like you would talk to anybody else. Taking that first step is the hardest but once the talking starts, the conversation should start to flow naturally.

Just remember that in the end, he's a person too and it's possible to talk to anyone unless he's someone who likes to come off as an asshole to people which I don't think he will.

Oh no I'm not THAT bad of course I did talk that much. The point was I couldn't find anything else to say and whatever I told were quite stupid and I embarrassed myself. And I wasn't able to give him my phone number or someway for him ro reach me or couldn't ask him to give me his number or so... Actually at first he introduced himself thn he asked me my name twice, because I didn't say anything while we were shaking hands. EMBARRASSING! And then whatever he asked I was at least 20 seconds late to answer, I needed to think, I couldn't even remember where I am from... EMBARRASSING! But at the end, we did talk. I know where he studies but I can't go up there without a reason. I was too busy with considering the situation and making possibility calculations that I wasn't able to ask his phone number before I got into the car. I AM a fool, because I am so relaxed normally -with others I mean- but that time...:( Is that wonderful or what?
