I think the reason you both accept it being OK is becasue it is impulse. You find the need for pleasure and that is what you want and when that is done you are over those feelings of needing to get off from one another.

According to Kinsey, approximately 37% of males had at least one same-sex experience leaving to orgasm during their lives.

In a recent study in Australia 9% of women and 6% of men admitted to homosexual experiences. That's not as high but it still significantly above the percentage of homosexuals in the population which is more accurately reported at around 2%.

So perhaps it isn't terribly high as a percentage but it is clear to me that it isn't uncommon, either. You might check Craig's List and see how many notices there are for married men who want to have a "different" experience.

For the last 30 years, the Fundamentalists have been putting out that the gays represent only about 2% of the adult population, but that's simply not true. Stick with science.

If the sex research done by Kinsey in the late 40's was accurate, then about 80% of the adult male population are varying degrees of bisexual. That does NOT mean that all those guys will "act out" or have a homosexual experience... just that it's possible given timing and opportunity.

With that said, it's not unusual for males or females to experiment during adolescence... (through around age 26 to be exact). Are you gay or bi? I don't know. A BIG misconception is that having gay-type sex will turn you homosexual. Not true.

Here's the trick to find out IF you're gay or not. Your sexuality is not determined by who you go to bed and have sex with... it's about who you're thinking about when you're having sex. We're not talking about a single experience here, but over a protracted period of time. If you think about both males and females, maybe you're bisexual. If it's mostly women you think about when having sex with your roommate, well, you're probably straight. I hope this helps. :cool:

Most men don't go to these places to have sex with other men. There are a very small percentage of men who do it, though. This does not validate this practice. As well, it doesn't mean that straight men do it.
As far as being married or having girlfriends...that doesn't mean a guy isn't gay.

Ok, well since this is going to be debated I will have to answer your guy's question. Hopefully this will be the only time ever I have to talk about it becasue I don't go around telling everyone. It may also shed some new light on who I really am.

I have had this experience with another male but I was much much younger. Around 7-14 years of age. Some where in there. It did happen multiple times and different things happened here and there.

No, I am not gay by any means or bisexual. I do have a girlfriend, and I plan on never telling her this unless something really bad comes up in the future. I find it no one's business at all.

It's common for adolescents, who experiment when they discover the hard-on, then they grow up. It's not common for straight adults.
When I had an adolescent experience, deep down I didn't want to participate, but I was dealing with peer-pressure. I had no interest or desire to join in.

Okay, I'm going to agree with your advice to the original poster. But I have to disagree with your statistic.

The "homosexual community" (as represented by particular organizations) likes to cite the statistic that 10% of the population is gay. But that's like asking asking vegetarians how many vegans are out there. They will over-estimate.

But I don't think scientifically conducted studies validate that.

If you google for this data and look for the actual studies you'll find numbers to be generally much less than that.

Most "normal" heterosexual men go to adult places for heterosexual entertainment; Not to have sexual contact with men.
There are men who do this but there are also men who drink straight whiskey every day, shoot heroin, murder people, dress as women, pierce the head of their penis, have sex with minors, etc.
These are not the "norm" for the majority of us.
