Massage Parlour-'moraly' okay?

Hey guys,

I have been living a very conservative sexual lifestyle up until recently when I changed my values and started exploring the sexual world out there. Last night I really wanted to experience a company of a lady but i don't have a g/f so I went to a massage parlor. However, I made a decision with myself to only get a massage, no hand job, and not touching anything (which freaked out the lady a bit and she thought I was undercover police haha ).

Anyways, just wondering what do girls, but also other guys think about it. Is it using the girl as a sex toy which is disrespectful and not what a man should do? Or is it just a fun time that two consenting adults engage in?
Do you girls think of guys who go there as being weird, dirty, etc., and does your respect for them diminishes? Would you mind if your boyfriend told you that he used to visit these places? Also, I feel like its morally wrong, and not something that God would want you to do (i'm not a Christian, but I believe in a higher power).

I just feel less about myself if I start touching a lady there, because it seems like I am using her body which she allows me to do only because she needs the money to feed her kid.

Any thoughts on that?

It's not an easy question to answer. Personally, I believe that paying for sex (or "relief") is acceptable behavior. There's no harm done. Some would argue that it demeans women.

Unfortunately, though, many of these women are in abusive relationships and much of this business is part of the criminal world. Much like marijuana and other 'victimless" drugs - ask someone living on the US-Mexico border if the crime and violence there resulting from the drug trade is "victimless."

If you aren't in a relationship, though, and aren't betraying anyone, just check out a "good one." Don't use an illegal service. Also, if you're ever in Vegas there are legal brothels.

the thing is I definitely don't want to pay for sex (intercourse, prostitution), and went to a legal/licensed massage parlor where they don't allow you to have actual intercourse (which I didn't even want). The lady was really nice and works on her free will with no pimp forcing her, and even enjoys her job to an extend. She is a single mom and needs to pay the bills, and is thinking of leaving the business once her own business takes off. She was really understanding of my moral dilemma (wanting to respect women, not being okay with touching her, etc.), but was encouraging me to try it (for free actually) to get me more relaxed about my sexual morals.

So I don't know, she told me to come back (understandably) and be more relaxed about this whole thing, once I am ready.

and a second question...Dan and Jennifer, you seem to be so sure about the topic of sexuality and seems like you can enjoy a variety of sexual experiences with no guilt and troubled conscience. In my teen years I would always feel guilt after watching pornography and so I only did watch it few times. I would feel guilty grinding and touching girls in a club, or even think of a random sexual experience (one night stand).

I didn't grow up being religious or in a religious family, so I am not sure where I got it from. I have been involved in a Christian church for the past five year, but don't believe it anymore, however once again, my I experience guilt about porn, casual sex, going to a massage parlor, etc. What do you think of that? Is that guilt an indication I shouldn't be doing that or just my own consience playing tricks (I am still spiritual and think that God does not want us to do some things, so can my guilt be coming from there?).
