Yes, it is generally conservative. Muslim at that. Or Hindu. You might find the "tourist-friendly" location with plenty of whores (not enough domestic industry) that are Thai or Vietnamese but Malaysia, Indonesia,Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Brunei, among others, are heavily Muslim. He may have done it in the past, but the only way you can find out 'who with' is to ask him. It sounds simply like he's more prepared for the idea than you, no offense, as he isn't tense. You said that you didn't do it often so it could be a physical issue, that it hasn't loosened, or it could simply be a mental issue; you're too tense. Anyway, it sounds like he is open to the idea, which either means he's wanted to do it for a long time or has done it before. That's all I can really say.
