Well, as a female I can say I've had a few used on me. But usually that doesn't get a guy anywhere. I'd say what might make a guy sound better is if he can just come up with a quick joke, laugh about it, then ask if he could buy me a drink or something...lol

I have heard guys using pick up lines and, honestly the answer i heard was always a "no" with the eww-kind-of-face. Most guys I know use pick up lines as a joke.. They start for using it then they just laugh for doing it and get "serious". But I think that's silly... Just introduce yourself, ask for her name and buy her a drink.

The question is, do you really want the kind of woman that will respond to a pick-up line? I don't think I would.

Yeah, I haven't heard of anyone actually going for the pickup line... as a female, it wouldn't work for me. My boyfriend says they don't work either.

I believe that you can use a sleezy pick-up line for one thing: To test her!

If you say something that would cause most girls to fall of their chair laughing AT you, but the girl responce with a "aww your so sweet". Then you would know pretty damn well which kind of girl you are dealing with ;D

If she laughs at you you can always save yourself by laughing too. Then she thinks it was a joke and all is good :D

That's a new one for me. I haven't heard that pickup line before. The general consensus I've gotten when I've talked about this topic with people I know are that they're lame, boring, and useless. It's also probably a good way for you to make an ass out of yourself if that's what your purpose is. I've heard a few and know a few but haven't actually used them on anyone. I think they exist for people to use a topic for shits and giggles during conversations.

I have my own opinion on this-a resounding 'no'. When I was thirteen, I tried using one on a girl I liked (MOST EMBARASSING MOMENT OF MY LIFE!) We laughed a lot afterwards, but... No I've never really asked a girl out, I've always been set up or had girls ask me out, so I have not used any
