I am a Muslim and i am very offended by what you have said in your post.

OK, everybody stop right there before this gets out of hand and way, way off topic. :-)

To be very clear, we don't allow stuff that's offensive to anyone, i.e. name calling, racial stuff, etc.

That having been said, there's a LOT of misunderstanding about different religions, ethnic groups, etc. where people don't actually intend to say something hurtful - and a statement that's intended as completely innocuous causes a big argument.

Mr White - while you found the statement offensive, it would have been more helpful to just clarify that it was a mischaracterization of the actual truth and shown why.

Coming back with "you are a racist" is just as bad as calling someone names to begin with. that's how the rocks keep flying, and nobody ever wins anything.

So, in the spirit of moving forth and staying true to the theme of these Forums, I've edited the first post and removed the last line dealing with Muslims, because it's not key to the issue/argument.

And I've also removed the "you are a racist" bit from the response since it was not helpful.

Let's please all go forth and drop it here and focus on helping one another.
