This Past weekend, I was down in Calgary to visit an old friend of mine from High school back in Ontario (His name is Steve).
It was Steve's Wife (Carol), Birthday, and they were having a party for her.
among the guest list was Carol's Girlfriend (Amber), and Carol's "Partner" (as she put it, Andrew)
There was also Steve's Girlfriend (Megan), and Amber's Husband (Jim)
There was also Steve's "Partner" Sarah, but she got so drunk that she was hitting on everything that moved, even the door.
There were other guests, but they were, like me, either single or with there SO who is not connected to this relationship.
Now there were alot of stolen kisses from any of the couples involved, and everyone knew what was going on and was fine with it, but there wasn't any sex going on that night. (nearest that I could tell was when Sarah snuck up behind me, lifted my kilt and started feeling my package, that can really freak you out if you are not expecting it, and by the fact that I was outside having a smoke at the time, and it was about 5 above freezing at the time, I think I got a bit short changed. LOL)
Oh, the names have been changed to protect the innocent. :)
The main point is there were so many people who are involved in 3 or more way relationships at that party, and no one was jealous of anything. It really makes me think that Man-kind as a species might finally be evolving away from Jealously!
