my friend, i'm currently in a situation somewhat similar to this. unfortunately it's on the verge of ruining our friendship. long story short, boy meets girl.. boy likes girl and vice versa so they date for a while... boy friend comes into the pic with his sweet talk and girl leaves boy for boy's friend. not very nice :( any who, the best thing i can tell you is, never date your friends ex's or go after their current gf or bf unless your willing to throw your friendship away for this chick. my friend just saw some fresh meat and decided to risk our friendship to go after my (now ex) girl. if you have any respect for your good friend, i don't think you should go after her. i know this probably what you don't wanna hear but ask yourself this, is this girl worth risking your friendship?

thanks. That more or less, cleared up my decision. I really like the girl, but I don't know if it's worth throwing away my friend for her. Let me ask you this: Should I wait it out (it being they're relationship), or just try to get rid of the thoughts that I like her and just keep her as a friend?

i think that if you care about her and your good friend you should not interfere with their relationship cuz then your gonna turn into "the other guy". if u like her then u should wait it out and if they end up parting ways, u can move in, but NOT IMMEDIATLY. wait for a couple of months so that both of their wounds can heal. if u move in right away, its just as bad. u don't, by any means NEED to erase her from ur thoughts though, just dont go chasing someone thats already taken
