I think "wiener" is my personal favorite. I always thought that saying "penis" sounds all serious and saying "cock" sounds sort of dirty, but "wiener" just sounds funny lol.:)

There actually was a book written on this subject quite a while ago. I think it was called "101 Nicknames...." or something like that. It listed all the names, showed pictures and explained where they came from.

When I was in grade school, all of us girls tried to come up with as many G-rated names as we could so that the nuns wouldn't know what we were talking about. Our favorite ones were either toy-themed: hot rod, airplane, submarine, pee-shooter, squirt gun, magic wand, sword, garden hose; or food-themed (other than meats--they got suspicious when we mentioned salami, kielbasa, etc.): Twinkie, cannoli, pixie stick, eclair, Clark bar, candy cane, popsicle.

One guy I knew simply referred to his as "my best friend."

I remember when I was a kid thinking that it was called a penis because you used it to pee with, I mean it sounds like "pee-nis" when you say it, but the root of the word is actually from the latin word for "tail". Also, did you know that another plural for penis is "penes"?
