Question:
I am a 15 year old girl. I lost my virginity at 14. I haven't been sexually active since. I have known my current boyfriend for almost a year and we have been dating for almost 6 months. I love him a lot and I know he loves me. He's 16. We are not planning on having sex this year or anything, and he's a virgin, but do you think it is okay to have sex when I'm 16 and he's 17? We want to wait a while, only because of our ages. If so, how then can I talk to my parents about birth control? My parents are against sex before marriage, but I don't see that as realistic at all. I'm afraid if I tell them we are considering having sex before marriage, they will never let me see him again. I don't know how to go about all of this. Any advice?
