It seems uncertain at the moment, all I would do is carry on as normal and see if she does anything else, if she does then it looks like she likes you, but if not, she may just be a bit odd, like you say.

Okay, so ask yourself if she seems like the person who does things like that. Maybe she likes you and just wanted you to notice her more. Try to look around and see if she acts like that towards her friends and other guys. If she doesn't and has an "alternate personality" around you like you said she acts kind of wierd, then I'd say she likes you. If I were you, I'd ask her friends something like, "Hey (friend's name), what's up with (girl's name)? She's been acting kind of funny lately around me, what's up? Is there something wrong?" You can probably come up with something that sounds a little better, but this is just off of the top of my head.

I agree with scifi_aaron and that she is a little uncertain right now, but just carry on your normal life and if she does something else, then she likes you.

Well put it this way - girls don't touch guys they don't like! :) Why would we?

The thing is that she may be someone who is very physically demonstrative and she likes you in a friendly way not a sexual way -- or maybe she's testing the waters to see how you react to your touch. We girls are notorious for doing that. When a guy isn't getting the message that we're interested, we do things like make sure we hug the guy hello or goodbye, or gently touch his shoulder when we're laughing or we want to make a point during a conversation - all to guage his reaction.

My suggestion would be for you to see if touching her in a subtle way has a good result. If you know her well enough, hugging her when you see her and saying hi can be nice, also gently touching her on the shoulder is good when you're talking together. A woman will either respond with interest or she'll draw back.
