LOL thanks for sharing that video. I do watch the Daily Show and The Colbert Report when I can... but I must've missed that one.
It does bring up an interesting thought though... why are we all so sensitive about religion? I'm from a Christian Baptist family, educated in my early years at a Baptist school... and although I do not regularly attend any church at this time I do consider myself a Christian. (that could be a totally different discussion) But for some religions a simple depiction of a prophet is reason for outrage. On the other side of the spectrum, in a Christian - Catholic specifically, world, people get tattoos with their religious symbols and it is not seen as disrespectful or in bad taste... even if those tattoos were inked within the walls of a prison.... hmm.. food for thought...
Basically, all religions have the same basic underlying themes... and there are extremists in any religion.. the "Christians" who bomb abortion clinics, the "Muslims" who crash into the side of buildings, or to outsiders seeing Buddhists drum on a damaru — a hand drum used in Tibetan Buddhist meditation, made of human skulls...these are all religious "extremes" depending on your point of view. Wars are fought for money, territory, and religious differences... We, as a human race, cannot, and will never "all play nice". Its human nature, unfortunate, but true.
Sorry Dan, but you asked....
