I never get MORE horny. But I tell my bf to say the HELL away from me when I'm on my period. We had sex once when I was almost done, and I regretted it greatly.

well first of all....and for the record im a guy...i wouldnt say that all women get hornier...i do think a few of them do..but definitely not all of them...

and second...i think that it might have something to do with the way that women's hormones work around that time of the month...

but then again..those are just my thoughts about it...

I do get hornier, but not quite a sex addict.
I think it's because when in my period, the body thinks it's getting ready for eggs and stuff, and that just makes you try getting eggs or something.. Along that line.

When women are ovulating, they tend to be attracted to masculine men. When they're not, they tend to be attracted to non-masculine men.

To FemaleOrgasm's comment, I find myself attracted to immature, yet manly guys.. All the time.. So I don't see how that works out.

I don't know, but I know it happens to me! I am at my horniest on my period. And I am also curious as to why women would get hornier at the time of month when they would be least likely to be able to have sex without making a mess!

it is the hormones!!our bodies know that this is one of the most fertile times,right at the beginning of our cycle,we release eggs,it is our bodies way of trying to make us reproduce,also i got even more horny during my pregnancies,also due to hormone changes,but that is weird,because if we are alredy pregnant,then why would our bodies make us want more sex?either way,hormones are to blame!!

Its mostly having to do with their hormones... but it is also the fact that this is a time where they cannot have sex, even when they want to. So they have ot just keep it inside. It can be frustrating.

Actually, the most fertile time is in the middle of a woman's cycle; that is when the eggs are released. A woman's libido tends to peak at this point in her cycle. A period happens when the eggs are not fertilized and the uterus discards the lining it has built up to receive a fertilized egg because it is not needed.

Women definitely CAN have sex during their periods if they want to. However, some prefer not to and some men also don't like to "swim the red sea."

My opinion on why women get hornier during their periods:
1. During the days just preceding periods, women tend to retain fluid. This causes swelling which increases tension on the sexual organs; hence, horniness.
2. Having orgasms is a good way to relieve cramps.
3. During a period, the vagina is constantly wet, just like during sexual arousal.

I am at my worst when I do have a period, that makes me the opposite of your gf..:D But I have to agree that it really has something to do with hormones. ;)
