Okay, so after a long year at school of liking the girl of my dreams, I drew up all the courage I had and I finally told her how I felt on the last day which was June 8th. Since I think this is kind of important I'll say what she and I said since it might help (I'm not really sure though). So, I managed to catch her alone and I said, "Hey, can I talk to you for a few seconds?" and she's like, "Sure." so I was like, "Uhm, I just wanted to tell you that I really like you and I was wondering if we could hang out and spend some time together this summer." and she thought for like 1 second tops and said, "Sure." with a huge grin on her face. So, I was like, "Cool. Can I have your number then so I can call you?" and she's like, 'Sure!" so she even wrote it down on paper for me and said, "That's my cell number." with a big smile on her face. So, I was like, "Okay, thanks! I have to get going now but I'll call you soon, okay?" and she's like, "Okay, bye!". So, haha, what a way to end the last day at school, right? :D
So, I went home and because I was a little busy, I didn't call her right away. All of my girl friends that I talk to were like, "Awe, you asked her out and she said yes!" and "See, we told you she likes you!"and even my guy friends said that so I was really happy about that. Eventually on Monday the 15th I called her cell at about 1:00PM. There was no answer so I called a little later around 3:00PM thinking she'd be around then and there was still no answer. So, I decided to wait 2 days, so on Wednesday the 17th I called her again. This time I left a message telling her to give me a call back.
So, I waited 3 days; no reply. I decided to go ride my bike past her house to see if she was home and she didn't really appear to be home. So, I waited a few more days and after no reply still, I decided to call but not leave a message. It was still her voice mail on her cell! :( So, I waited a few more days. I called periodically and everytime I'd call it would be her voice mail. I told my mom this and she said that I should try calling her home phone instead because maybe her cell just isn't on or something happened to it. So, I looked her home phone up and called her house. There was no answer on her home phone either; just the answering machine! So, I was getting a little frustrated by this but I kept my cool. My mom said that we were going mini golfing so I could ask her to come too since there's more than one course on Friday the 26th (yesterday), so I called her up Thursday around 6:00PM and there was no answer on her cell or home phone! So, I left a message asking her if she'd like to go with me on both her home and cell and I even said my phone number just incase. Today is Saturday the 27th of June.
I don't know if she's just busy or what. My friends all say that she must just be busy or because she has a cabin she's there (I did see her parents packing their van with stuff [could have been unpacking though too]) about a week ago so maybe they did go up to their cabin. But, I road my bike past her house and her garage door was open and there were her family's cars! :confused: Needless to say, she does have a few siblings in college so maybe they stopped back at her house. Anyways, I'm just confused.
So, my questions: is there a reason she may not be returning my phone calls and messages? Does she not like me? Did I do something wrong? :confused:
